Skink Tank's latest release 'Livin Under Rock' is skidding down the gravel driveway of the internet to offer up another EP's worth of tracks compiled into a fully fledged album.

Released as a limited edition 12” double E.P, this is a comprehensive collection of Skinks’ works to date. There’s no filler, no faff, just tight pop gems that’ll get stuck in your head and require you to come to a Skinks gig to get it out of your system.

Returning post-lockdown in 2022 to the Northern Victorian abandoned farm of Roseneath where their first EP was recorded, Skinks took to experimentation with songs they’d been sitting on during iso. These new songs reflect the nervous times they sprung from, but more importantly the defiant optimism the band is loved for.

Skinks live and rock on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. The latest songs were recorded again in Lancefield, not far from the ancient Wurundjeri greenstone quarry, Wil-im-ee Moor-ring (“axe-place”). Axe heads were traded along a vast trade line that reached along the east of the continent up to Queensland until colonial violence and takeover splintered the ability to trade.
